Summer is Over(2017)

This summer is a indeed a different one.

First I took about 6 weeks off. Went to China about 4 weeks, then Europe for another 2 weeks. Had lots of fun, enjoyed the delicious food. And this was one of my longest break for the past 10 years. Since I worked so hard for all those years, yes, I think I deserve a long vacation.

And for the mortgage business, this is the most slowest year in the past 15 years. The reason was the rate went  up, and I also did not promote the business when I was in China. And now I have to work harder.

Read a few books in the past a few months. I updated my lists. I think I might read more about the foreign countries, the travel related books etc. We like to go to one city and stay there for about 2 weeks and then go to the destination. I know we will have more time after retirement. Our next plan is to Italy for 2-3 weeks next Summer.

My running was ok. I tried to run in Nanjing, Yunnan when I was in China. But since it was humid in Nanjing, and the busy travel schedules in Yunnan, I did run too much. But I indeed the running in Europe, I ran a lot in Vienna, Prague. Salzburg, Rinz. And I liked the running around  Danube River. I think I will run a little bit during my next trip. Running is part of the travel plan as well.

New York Marathon is about 5 weeks away. I will have fun this time, and no plan for the PR. Maybe I can try to run a little bit better for the CIM in December
