Mortgage Rates this week

February 13th, 2013 9:50 PM by Eric Fang

Some borrowers asked me the rates trend today,
I told him that to check my monthly running milage
first. Whenever the rate is good, my weekly/monthly
milage is low; if the rate is high, then my milage
will be higher(more time for the running). And
I fiished 121 miles for whole month of January,
and I already completed 70 miles for first 12 days
of this Month.

Seriously, the interest rate for the next 30 days
will determine the rates for this year. But most
likely, the lower rates were over. The reason
we need to check the next 30 to 60 days is that
we need to find out how the government budget
cuts affect the economy. I still believe the rate
should be better than current level.

Charlie Munger, the partener of Warren Buffett likes
read a lot. I wish I could be like him. I just finished
Two books on investment, and I am working on
"The Essay of Warren Buffett: Lessons for Corporate
America". I will try to understand the financial statements
for those companies I invest. I know some fund managers
will read about 10 reports per week, I wish I could
finish one each week.

So far I did not trade any transactions yet. I think
I would make 2 or 3 trades this year. Don't know why I am
so patient now. Maybe that is because of running,
maybe because of my getting older now.
