SCA 5, Votes and the Mortgage Rates, etc

March 18th, 2014 3:55 PM by Eric Fang

First SCA 5 is dead, at least for the next two years.
On March 17th, 2014, State Assembly Speaker John Perez(D-AD53)
announced sending SCA-5 back to State Senate citing the lack
of support of the bill in current form and the request of
the bill's author, Ed Hernandez(D-SD24). For more detail,

But in order to prevent such bills passed in the future,
we should vote in all the future elections. Please go to
the following website to register first:
https://rtv.sos.ca.gov/elections/register-to-vote/.

There are two elections this year, one in June, another
in Nov. One strategy is that we need to vote more for
rebpublican so that members of democratic party should be
less than 2/3 so they could not pass anything easily.

For the mortgage rates, it will be trading in this range
for sometime. But don't expect it to be much lower from this
level. The overall trend is up in the next a few years.
But the ARM rate is still very good.

For the running, I just finished another half marathon
in 1:39:07. This was my last race for the 1st half of 2014.
The next race willbe this July at San Francisco. And
there will be 3 half marathons, one marathon for the 2nd
half of 2014.
