Relaxed Weeks

December 30th, 2014 1:50 PM by Eric Fang

We went to Carmel over the weekend. We went there Friday,
and came back Monday.

This was one of the most relaxed weekend. We did drive to 17 miles
(maybe the 4th time now), and walked on the streets of Carmel and
Monterey, and went hiking at Point of Lobos. This was one of the most
scenic hikings I have ever had.

And also this was the vacation that I actually read the books. I bought the book
about Steve Jobs a few years ago when he just passed away. And It was my first
time actually reading it, and I finished half of it. So I think I might be able to
complete it this weekend.

I still did not run much yet. I only ran one mile at the pebble beach golf courses.
I should run more at the beach either of Carmel or Monterey. But I decided that
I did not want to do it.

I actually went inside one of the real estate offices over there. And I talked the agent
whose name is James. He told me about the local market, the areas around the neighborhood, and the vicinity cities(Seaside, Pacific Grove, Pebble beach, Marina,Salinas, etc).

The walk tour around the Carmel was kind of interesting. We learnt a lot about the local histories, like no addresses on the street, no street lamps, no people allowed to wear high heels, etc. And how the city was built, who was the designer, and why the artists like to be there, etc.
