3 of my borrowers had the offers accepted during this Thanksgiving week.I was amazed by those agents and borrowers. I happened to read the emails from the listing agent to the buyer agent(from the email conversations), the listingagent said that we had x offers, it was crazy past 24 hours, and you were so patientand your patient won the offer.My borrower worked with this agent for all her purchases in the bay area. And they can get the houses they wanted. I did not ask them how. Maybe their offer strategies werebetter; or the buyer was willing to pay a little bit more for the offer? One thing I know for sure that they have very good relationships, and worked together pretty well.When I had the vacation in LA, I got another phone call from an agent who asked me how much rebate I can share with her if she can refer her clients to me. I told her that I was not allowed to do so under the current regulation. And the expertise I offered to her client will make the clients happy because of my service, and she will get more referral business from my smooth transactions. I did not get those kind of phone calls for a long long time. But I indeed shared with the agent about my story with my clients. When I just started my business, my goal was to close the loan with my clients for the lowest rate and best service. I did not care too much about how much money I could make. But I still could make a fortune because of my volume.Ran 13 miles yesterday. I was a little bit sloppy after 5 day vacation. I think I should be able to run better in the next a few days. Anyway, the race is one week away.Tried to read some books for the investment. Actually I already know the answer for the good investment. Just pick up some stocks from the good companies, and then hold, longer enough. I think I will consider Starbucks, Visa/Master card, etc. Model is so simple and the profit margin is good.Have a good weekend. And enjoy the shopping if you can find good deals.
