It is very frustrating to find a house in the bay area.I have some clients to try to get a house for a wrong time,and it is still hard for them to get the offer accepted.
Actually it is very hard to answer this question. Andthere are different answers for this one. But one thingis for sure, good agents are always wanted, and goodagents are all similar. They are all friendly, know themarket, how to deal with the listing agent, loan agent, etc.
But some other agents are different. Recently I am going aloan for my client. Though they do have some difficultiesbecause of job changes, and the listing agent was concerned about the loan processing. And since the borrowers werenot determined what to do, and wasted for a week for nothing,instead of trying her best to communicate with the listingagent. This buyer agent chose not to reply listing agent'semail, and phone calls for a week.
And later the borrower decided to proceed. The agent did not try to convince the listing agent that the borrowersare ready for moving forward, she asked me what if the listing agent did not allow the extension for the removingcontigency. I told her that "you would not know if you donot ask". I just do not understand why she was afraid of talking to the listing agent. And now she has to talk tothe listing agent, for her client, for this business.
