A professor once has a glass jar sitting at the front of his classwith large rocks in it up to the top. He asked the students,"Is this jar Full?" To which they all replied, "Yes, Of course it is."
The professor then took a handful ofpebbles from behind his deskand dropped them into the jar, where they settled in around th rocks. He then asked, "Is the jar full now?" And then with a smile they said"Okay, now it's full".
The professor then pulled a cup sand from behind his deskand poured them into the jar, where they filled in arod both the rocks and the pebbles. He then asked one more time, "Class, Is the jar full now?" Now realizing that it couldnot possibly be filled any further because there was no visiblespace, they said, "Okay, now it is definitely full".
Yes again from nehind his desk the professor pulled a pitcher of water, and as he poured it in, it filled in the remaining space in the jar.
He then turned to the class and said, "As in life, we often think we can do more, but when we push to be creative, we find thatthere is always room for us to fill".
