In today's yahoo news, Cisco may layoff around
4000 FTEs. But I am more interested in Chambers'
saying that it needs to focus on its core business.

Every business has its core business, but sometimes
some companies may forget what their core business
and was distracted to some stuff the other companies
are doing.

IPAD is making a good profit for Apple now. And there
are a lot of "me too" companies tried to get some
market shares. Unless they have some technologies the
other companies do not have, otherwise, they can not
make that much profits.

That's why when we invest in the companies, we should
find those companies with "moat" against the competitors.

As I always mentioned in my blog, My core busines is
my current clients. Though I origiated new business
at the same, I will focus to get the lowest rates
for my current clients and their referrals.
