I know lots of investors like to go to
Sacramento, Stockton, Tracy, Antioch, etc
to purchase rentals. Those rentals
usually have good cash-flow.

During the 2000-2004 period, I have one
borrower who purchased a few houses
at Pacifica and San Francisco. And he told
me that he would not invest in Sacramento
area. Seems like he is right.

Recently, I have a few investors who
invested the properties in the bayarea
and LA, and San Francisco. They don't
want to invest in other areas.

I asked them why? They said that they
are very busy professionals, and they
don't want to spend too much time to deal
with the tenants.

Even though they don't have 10+ properties
like others do, but they still build quite
huge equity during the past decade.

Maybe we can also learn something from them?
