I picked up a few hundred shares of MA today. It is not because fool.com recommended, not because it was predicted as one of the best stocks for 2017. I just like this company as one of the best "Software and Service" companies.

The price I paid might be a little bit high, but I will pick up some more shares later on. And after a few years, it does not make much difference whether I purchased it at $85 or $105. And some analysts said that stock did not perform well because it was only up 10% for 2016. For me, 10% is good enough, and also I like to own low risk stocks but with large moat.

And I checked my stock performance for the last year, and I was surprised that it was up 20%. It was not because I was good. I think I was just luck. And starting this year, I will buy mainly SP 500, except MA and NKE, SBUX.
