Mortgage Blog

It was interesting expereince for me. As usual I went
to the bookstore on the weekends. But this weekend
was a little bit different. There was a siminar
sponsored by Randon house. A lot of read did ask
some interesting questions, like what's the percentage
of sales from digital(answer: aroudn 50%). And will
the paper publishing going away after 10 years or 20
years? According to the company, the digital copies
will be sold more, but it will not go away.
The reason is very simple: the baby kids reading
experience still starts with the paper books.
And the babies still love to turn around pages,
unless the baby will use IPAD or kindle in the future.

Also, the publisher said that one advantage of
paper books is the resale or the return of the books.
You can not return or resale a digital book.

And we did ask how the authors get the books
published? And he said "get an agent first".

I know someone tried to get rid of loan agents or RE
agents. Still it is not that easy. Agents are needed
to do the screening in most of the cases. For loan
originator, we will make the lenders' life easier to
put a clean file together; and we will make a borrower
happier by providing better rates.
