Sharpen The Saw

About 10 years ago, I attended a class by Stephen Covey:
7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I still remember the
Habit 7 is: Sharpen The Saw.

For me, even though I am a mortgage broker, I think my other
knowledge and skills helped me build a rapport relationship
with my clients. I answered questions about how to apply
a green card for the parents(pretty easy now), how to manage
the rental property and how to find the good tenants, etc.
And I helped my clients to decide insurance, living trust
as well.

And recently, I have some clients asked me about how
to get a well-covered insurance policy, how to protect
the assets, etc.

The good news is that I am learning everyday. And I will
finish the training in property & casualty insurance Feb.

Today, I can share with you some basics about the Auto Insurance.

Basically the Auto policy covers the following(common ones):
1)Bodify Injury
2)Property Damage
3)Uninsured/UnderInsured
4)Medical Payment
5)Comprehensive
6)Collision.

The first three are the most important ones on the policy.
3)covers the insured if the other person hit you who is
not insured or underinsured. There are still 30% of people
in California underinsurance or not insured.

4)Covers you and anyone in your car when at an accident.

5) & 6) covers your car, while 6) covers the accident, 5)
covers anything other than accident.

The most important thing is that we can twist the numbers
so that we can  have better coverage with the same or lower
premium.

I will share with you how to in the later blogs.
