Good to Great

It's very hard to be a great player in each industry. I would be very happy if I am a good one.

I was bothered by the cramps by the recent three marathons. I know there are one or the other problems when I tried to run faster. And I was disappointed by myself. And Sometimes I talked to myself, I would have a great experience if I did not have a cramp and race the whole race at the pace I can run. In another word, I could not reach my potential limit yet.

As a mortgage broker, I am also trying to good, hard to be a great loan originator. I am always one of the top loan originators, but it is hard to do everything correctly. There are a lot of issues I can not control.

For the past three months, I closed lots of loans, and I got good rates for my clients, but there was one problem, it was slow. I have someone complained about it. But when the volume picked up at the lender's side, and when they did not hire extra people, the delay was expected.

In this week, I got two replies from my clients that they had great experience with me. The rate was good, the process was very smooth. And they would refer me to their friends. We are supposed to run the business this way.

In the past, I had some online ads, and I thought those will bring me more business. For some reason, I stopped the online ads, the business was not affected. So my referral engine is good.

For the past two or three months, I handled a few transactions from the first time buyers. This is a good sign. And there are a few who wants to move up to a big house(not in bay area. Bay Area is a different market). So I think the builder stock should be doing well for the next a few months.

I had a good rest for the past week. And I am ready for the training again. Yes, another Marathon in 3 weeks. I am looking forward to it. And compared to the other races, I will put in all my effort, yes, I will try to BQ this time.
