Though it is just 2nd week of the year 2017, believe it or not, the market is crazy. 

I got three purchase loans on Money, all from southern California. And another buyer's offer accepted, and she cancelled today(for various reasons), this one is also in South Cal. And one borrower called yesterday to check the rate and the offer was accepted, the property is in El Dorado Hills(near Sacramento). And we am working the quotes for another purchase in Sacramento today. So I was so amazed by so many offers accepted. So many buyers are willing to buy, and sellers are willing to sell. And yes, my personal trainer is selling his primary, and buying the retirement home now.

The rate might be high, but still at the same level as most of the time of 2015. And I think the confidence level is up now after the new president. At least people will not think the RE price will go down.

I will send out another newsletter about the market and the interest rate after my marathon this weekend. I normally I need to "focus" on the race, though I do not care too much for this one.
