The stock market is boring

September 30th, 2015 2:22 PM by Eric Fang

Seems like the stock market will be up for one day, then down for one day or two days. Some people said that the stocks are over valued; some will say that Down will be over 19,000 in 2016.

It does not matter who is right or wrong. The job market is still robust, and economy is still growing, though very slow. It is expected the GDP growth will be around 2.x something next year and 2017. But still it is better than 0% or recession.

This is just an opinion of half glass full, or half glass empty thing. Someone will think it is good, some does not.

Anyway, we can tell the RE market is cooling down. This is mainly because of the stock market, not because of the higher interest rate or slow job market.

It is very similar for my running. Sometimes, I would think that I need to run faster, BQ first, then another PR for Marathon, and PR for half marathon. And other times, I would think what's the purpose of those PRs, they are useless for the health. And we all feel more comfortable when we run a little bit slower.

But I like the current market, the low SP 500 index fund will help me to acquire more shares. And the slower business will allow me to read/listen to more books. And I order another 3 books yesterday: My Life(Bill Clinton), In Fed we Trust(Ben Bernanke) and The Big Short Inside the Doomsday Machine
