Easy Excuses

June 12th, 2015 9:50 AM by Eric Fang

When I worked with my clients, I always found that some clients were very busy with the work and had no time to prepare the documents I needed, even though I told them that it takes only about 15 minutes.

I found that normally we have the time to do it(to do a lot of things), and we just have the low priority on this items and have the excuse that we are late.

Recently I have a puppy. My daughter requested a dog when she was a little kid. And at the beginning we had the excuse of no experience(We had no experience with baby the first time, right). Then we had the excuse of the house without a fence. And now, our house still does not have a fence, and once we decided to have a dog, it seems like ok to have a dog even though we do not have a fence(I need to walk the dog two to three times a day though).

I shared my experience with my friends and my clients about losing weight by running. I weighted about 205 lbs a few years ago, and I lost about 10 lbs after going to the gym, and I could not lose much after that. But after running, my weight lowered to 188 pounds the  first year, and 180 lbs the second year. 175 Lbs the third year. And Now I weighed about 167 to 172 lbs.

Some of my friends argued that we are so busy that we do not have time to run. Or the running will hurt the knee. It is so easy to find time for the running. I can get up around 5:30 for the running for 2-3 hours, and still it will be before 9 after the running. And my weekly mileage is around 60 miles, but my knees are ok, if not stronger.

So it is easy to make excuses for not doing things. But once you start, everything would be easy. So if you are interested, shoot me an email, I can share with you about losing weight. I feel so much better for the last a few years when I am 10lbs, 20 lbs 30lbs lighter.
