Talked to a tennis coach yesterday. He told me
he would rather have the comments about him
as a good coach, a strict coach or bad temper
coach than a nice coach. And he said that calling
a coach as nice is not a commpliment at all.

Same for a mortgage originator. I don't like
others call me a nice guy; I used to label
myself as one of the mortgage professionals
with the most knowledge about the industry.

To be nice is not good for a professional.
We should be an expert in our industry. And
sometimes, to be good is not enough either,
we should be great.
