Rate Trend and current 30 Yr fixed Rates

August 2nd, 2012 10:47 AM by Eric Fang

The best scenario rate for 30 yr fixed is 3.25%
now for LTV <=60% and with impound account.

Though the rate trend is lower, but we have the similar
problems as before. Most lenders are very slow to close
loans, especially when WF exit the wholesale market.

Some people asked when we can have 2.625% or 2.5%
for 15 yr fixed rate We should have 2.625% anytime
soon, on the condition that the trading coupon
for the bonds available. So that means we don't have
this rate on the ratesheet yet, but once we have it,
we are going to have this rate.
