Google's Wireless Device

April 22nd, 2015 9:32 PM by Eric Fang

I just heard that google will have the wireless service. I do not know how it works(Usually google products are not bad), but I want to share with you about the similar service provided by AT&T.

I used to have AT&T internet card, so that I have internet service anywhere I go, so I would be able to reply my clients' email, go to the web, etc. It is very useful when I am on vacation, especially out of the country.

I used the service for a few years. And I lost the card while I was in LA last December. So I discontinue the service until I went to Hawaii the end of March. And when I went to AT&T to get another card, they told me that they have another device called: Internet hub. Basically they can have internet signals, and you can use wi-fi from this hub. You can have up to 15 devices(iPad, phone, computer etc). The service was really good.

I know I could use the wi-Fi the vacation house provided. But since I have my clients' data, I would rather have my own internet connection. Since it is so easy to use, I think it is good for those college students, the senior parents. And it is cheap. Only $20 if you have two year contract, and share the 10GB data with other smart phone. I never used over the limit so far yet.

Just want to share my experience when I heard the google news today.
