Mortgage Blog

Once in a while, someone asked me why
I don't work as a realtor to sell/buy
houses. The reason is very simple:

1)I want to be an expert on loans.
That'w what I am now.

2)If I also buy/sell houses, I may not
be able to catch the best rates for my
clients while I am out of office.

3)I am a good loan originator, but not
a good realtor. I know it.

3)I want to spend my time with my family.
If I work as a realtor as well, I will have
no personal life at all.

4)According to 80/20 principle,
a)20% of the loan originators will have
80% of the business.
b)Smart loan originator will  use 20% of
the time to make 80% of the income.
c)If I am a realtor, I will use 80% of my
time to make 20% of the income, which is not
wise for me.
